rehaniA@cag.gov.in Director General (GA-II) and Member Secretary(GASAB)Ms Alka Rehani Bhardwaj belongs to the 1993 batch of Indian Audit & Accounts Service. She is currently serving as Director General Accounts in the Office of the CAG, New Delhi. Prior to this, she was posted as Director General/ Principal Director Regional Training Institute, Mumbai for four years and Accountant General (Audit) in Tamil Nadu, Chennai for three years. She was also on overseas posting as Director of External Audit in World Food Programme, Rome, Italy for two years from August 2012 to August 2014. Her other charges within the CAG organisation include Principal Director Commercial Audit and Member Audit Board, Mumbai; Director Scientific Departments, Mumbai and Director, Economic and Service Ministries, New Delhi. She was also on Deputation to NDMC as Deputy Chief Auditor from October 2003 to October 2007.
Ms Bhardwaj has experience of auditing international organisations of World Health Organisation, World Food Programme and various Indian Missions abroad. While working in both national and international context, she has conducted financial audit, compliance audit and performance audit. She has also attended training programmes in India and abroad.
