Controller General of Defence AccountsSmt. Devika Raghuvanshi is a 1988 Batch IDAS officer currently posted as Controller General of Defence Accounts. A Post Graduate with First Division in Political Science from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, she has had an illustrious career of 36 years serving in various capacities across the length and breadth of the country. During her service, she has headed the important offices of Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Air Force) and Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Border Roads), New Delhi. She has also held the posts of Addl Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Defence (Finance) and Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence. She also served as Director (Finance) in Aeronautical Development Agency, Bengaluru. She has been the driving force behind implementation of Project Nidhi (comprehensive solution designed to streamline and centralize the management of Government Provident Funds (GPFs) for Defence staffs across India). She has also been instrumental in implementing the vision of the Government of India for comprehensive web based interactive Pension Disbursement System for Defence Pensioners. This project is an end-to-end solution for all pension processes beginning with the initiation of pension claim till disbursement and accounting of pension expenditure.
